Gilching (pta026/20.10.2023/18:30) - The Supervisory Board of Dr. Hönle AG intends to appoint Dr. Markus Arendt as a member of the Management Board of Dr. Hönle AG with effect presumably from May 1st, 2024. He will follow Dr. Franz Richter, who was delegated to the Management Board by the Supervisory Board and will be leaving the Management Board when a successor is appointed.
Mr. Richter returns to the Supervisory Board and takes over the Chairmanship again. Mr. Niklas Friedrichsen took over the Chairmanship of the Supervisory Board during the time of delegation.
Mr. Arendt (56) has more than 20 years of experience as a Managing Director and Division Manager at international industrial companies. Currently he is Managing Director of the German subsidiary of MKS Instruments, Inc., a NASDAQ-listed supplier to the semiconductor industry. Previously, he worked for SUSS MicroTec SE for 15 years, including as Head of the UV lithography business unit and Managing Director of SUSS Photonic Systems Inc., Corona, USA. He holds a degree in industrial engineering and received his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg and the Karlsruhe Research Center (today Karlsruhe Institute of Technology KIT).
