3D coating
A coating with particularly high mechanical and chemical resistance due to the high degree of cross-linking in UV curing is applied to three-dimensional objects, for example as a protective coating or a surface finish.
The commonly used coating process for three-dimensional components are: dip coating, flow coating, spraying, doctor blade coating, roller coating.
Example applications:
- Plastics
- Metals / aluminium
- Wood
- Glass
- Car interiors
- Diffusers for vehicle lighting (PC)
- IMD films
- Metallised surfaces
